The Office of Equal Opportunity & Sexual Harassment / Title IX Compliance (OEOSH/TC) is composed of two departments that are responsible for the University's compliance with federal and state laws and University policies and procedures regarding issues of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and sexual violence involving students, staff and faculty. These departments include the Office of Equal Opportunity and Discrimination Prevention (EO/DP) and the Office of Title IX and Sexual Harassment Policy Compliance (TIX/SHPC). The EO/DP works to promote and integrate the principles of equal opportunity, affirmative action, nondiscrimination and excellence through diversity on campus. The TIX/SHPC works to prevent and respond to discrimination and harassment on the basis of sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sex- or gender-stereotyping and sexual orientation. Through the work of this office, we aim to foster an equitable campus environment in all the University’s work opportunities and educational programs.
